Big Girl

Claire decided about a month ago that cribs are for babies, so she's been sleeping on our bed, and Jason and I had moved into the guest room. We had a free weekend and used the extra time to reclaim our space and turn Claire's room into a Big Girl room. She helped pick out her new Big Girl sheets and was soooooo excited about the new Big Girl bed that moved into her room.

Weight--18.8 lbs (>3%)
Height--31 1/4 in (25%)
Head Circumference--18 in (25%)

Because her weight is still so low we did a lot of testing on Friday--and luckily, the results looked great. So that means we'll just fill her up with lots of calories and fats and take her back for a weight check in about a month. Her doctor wants to see a gain of at least a pound--bring on the butter!!

Fun-Filled Weekend

Jason's family came in for a visit over Easter weekend. We had a great time on Saturday celebrating birthdays--Jamey, Jason, Jana, and Rod all have birthdays right about now, so we do one big celebration. We had a fantastic dinner out--and, believe it or not--Claire behaved at the restaurant! Well, more like slept during most of it, but regardless of details, we still got to enjoy our meal while sitting down! Grandma and Aunt Jamey also organized an egg hunt for Saturday afternoon. Claire had so much fun gathering her eggs and putting them in both of her baskets. In fact, she has now decided that she needs to take a basket with her everywhere--Little Gym, HEB--I guess you never know when an egg might pop up. We had a lovely Easter brunch on Sunday with the extended family, and because of all the practicing the day before, Claire won first place in the hunt at the restaurant!

We got together with the playgroup yesterday--it's so cute to watch the kids interact with each other and make friends. We also got to meet the newest member of the group--Brady's little brother Cash! He's soooooo teeny-tiny and adorable--I just can't remember Claire being that little!

Ranch Girl

We headed out of town last weekend for a relaxing couple of days at the ranch with the entire Scott clan. Lots of fun was had by all!
